1953 Izhevsk alert at Westrifle!

Yes, they're refurbs, but all appear to only have replacement stocks nicely sanded/renumbered, and probably some reblued and/or painted parts as well. Remember, any 1953 Izzy is collectible and uncommon.

Sorry, there is no such thing as a collectible SKS...

If it makes you feel better to believe the opposite, i'm glad for you.

I remember a time when there was no such thing as a collectable Lee Enfield. Although there are plenty of SKS rifles on the market at this time, I don't subscribe to your thinking

Was implicitly referring to people collecting them because they think they'll worth sooooo much money later.

They as as collectible as cereal boxes. Sure it might be fun to collect. Don't expect to make money.

My opinion.

By the time they become a collector firearm we will be dead and free of gun controls.:D I'm not much of a collector but do like to shoot my sks, a 53 Tula. Just looked at a crate of them at the a shop i was in, 10 fine looking sks's. Oh yes they will likely increase in price, i remember passing up crates of Mosin's 25 years ago. Much cheaper than now and i still don't want one. cou:
