Mines just a simple 410 hiker...

It's more for if I feel like randomly going into the woods and shooting some targets have a box or 2 and some clays in the back as well. or if I hit a deer and have to dispatch it.

I can fire a shotgun with a regular stock with 1 hand so does that make it a pistol because it has the orginal stock....

What about the mares leg firearm? It's under that and can be fired by 1 hand but was called a rifle ie non restricted. It's flawed..
 
Oh I agree its flawed thinking on their part, and makes no sense to me!

I found this out when I was looking to get a 14" 870 and use a birds head on it... this made me back away from that ( fine ) idea

I bought the gun with a pistol grip and it was non-restricted, a birds head grip wont change that as long as its not shorter then 26 inchs. The overall length of the pistol grip that comes with it is 28.75 inches. The birdshead grip will not make that less, prob longer.

I just throw my old Mossberg 500A behind the seat. It's not worth much, with the folder it is short and handy and I can put a pistol light on it for night time activities.

So... if I read this correctly, my 18.5" barreled Mossberg with a pistol/birdshead grip would still be non-restricted? Sorry if I'm helping to derail the thread here, but we just opened a whole new can 'o worms.
 
It isn't law. It says "may be considered". Laws contain definitive terms where there is usually no room for interpretation. Like the mares leg, a pump action cannot be operated with one hand. Scare tactics.

8.5 grizz, the reason I bought it. it and 2 mags fit perfectly tucked away behind the rear seat of my crew!

Built to take a #### kicking and keep on ticking after all the what seemed like an endless amount of work. She's pretty but all function dont have to worry about rust with the cerekote and the adjustable stock is nice for when I have a bulky jacket on or just a tshirt good to go all seasons.
