Acr

I think we should be hoping for the 18.5 inch here before we worry about other calibers.
450 would be sweet, but I'd personally rather see one with 18.5 inch and in 300 Blackout.
ACR is on my will own someday list :)
Hoping the price comes down a little though, I think they are a little overpriced for what your getting. If they were non restricted it would be worth the little extra but for now I'm not convinced. I need to shoot one, then I may change my mind.

Shooting one WILL change your mind... they are sweet.. Better ergos (in my opinion) than AR family... the quick removal of the barrel makes cleaning REALLY easy, and the gun stays super clean inside. The only thing I don't love is the safety (digs into your finger), but a file can fix that.

Caliber changes (whenever they get around to making barrels) will take you seconds... as long as the boltface stays .223 sized like .300 blackout.

I like the looks of them and the specs but haven't had a chance to fire one yet, I have held one in the store though and it was comfy.
That's why I'd like to see one in 300BLK before others, Just barrel swap and your done, no changing the bolt or anything else, plus I already have an AR in 300BLK so I'm all set up and already reloading for it.

Ian could make you a .300 barrel without too much trouble... spare parts for the gas system are now available via Gravel... probably cost about $1000 for a barrel, but you could sell your AR! :)

I've considered that but since I already have an HK SL8 with HERA gen 2 lower and ACR stock I already have a non restricted black rifle and also 3 AR's so I'm in no hurry. If I could find someone to trade me their ACR for my franken AR made with higher end parts (no cheap crap) with 18 inch ATRS heavy barrel I would do it and then look into a second barrel but for now I'll just keep waiting for the factory 18.5 300BLK setup.
I will own one but just not until I can get the one I want or at least till I come across the right deal.

See, no rush, plenty of toys

The AR I was talking about is the third one from top but has had a barrel change and a new stock and now looks like this.

I agree with the 18.5 inch barrel. That would be the kicker for me to drop some cash on an ACR. I'm convinced on all other fronts except for the restricted part.

reason I asked is because I am looking at getting one converted to 50 beowulf in NR for hunting. If the 450 is still in the works I will just wait for that and get a longer barrel made if needed.
I want the stopping power of the big bore for large game like Moose and bear

Cr5 I've got an NR ACR with a 18.6" QuestAR barrel. Haven't touched my ARs in months and I have seriously considered selling my 300BLK AR to fund a barrel for the ACR. Seeing how I have a Handi Rifle in 300 BLK also

ACR wins hands down for a NR Black Rifle

Well it's not NR out of the box, so I wouldnt call it a NR black rifle. It's a restricted black rifle with 600$+ in a new barrel to make it non restricted and all the hassle and time required to do so.

That would definitely be an awesome hunting rifle. Best part is that if you wanted you could convert back to .223 for cheaper shooting and varminting then just a minute or so later take it out for big game.

You take the barrel off to clean it? How's that effect the POI next firing session?

I've seen just how easy these are to change out the barrel, but as with any rifle I would expect a POI shift with every time it's done. Obviously these aren't precision rifles, but I'm curios to know how much of a shift the barrel removal causes.

hi, if your interested in a .50 beowulf non restricted, i am going to be selling a few probably in January
as of yet i have not had luck getting the .450 to cycle properly , might give up and try the 458socom

Full rifles or barrel/bolt kits? Assuming you're talking non-restricted I've always liked the idea of hunting with .50beo .

I haven't noticed any POI change at all. Barrel seats firmly and has no twist or anything to it when being remounted
