I own a quality bolt action(Savage model 10 with a HS Precision stock eventually to be replaced with an aics stock) already, and am saving for accuracy internationals in the near future, I will let you deduce from that whether I have ever owned or will ever own an inferior manually operated bolt action rifle system.

HK is about to announce the G36 or G36 based for civillians and Burrito ARX100 is already submitted and this is what you think we should be salivating over? It's a straight pull bolt action, that's all I need to know, a design dumped by everyone a while back and only used for a very niche market like uk civvies because they can't own a semi automatic. Are you seriously suggesting if they asked the initially speculated $1000 for it you would actually buy it? Who is carrying parts? Little things like firing pins and extractors break, who will bring them in?
And get ak type gun out of your head, just because it has a front face that looks like an ak doesn't make it an ak type weapon, and if it does then by name the rcmp will prohib it, because if you read it all ak variants are prohib, it's a schmidt rubin action resized to accept the 7.62x39, and the nose of the gun is dressed to look like an ak. The mossberg mvp accepts ar mags, that doesn't make it an ar type gun, in case you were about to pull the ak mags arguement. Incidentally the shooting center has a bunch of those sr spbar k31s for sale for $250 each, since you like these so much I recommend you give one of those a whirl to see how you like them.
