Turns out the chamber is slightly rusted, I guess that's what happens when you shoot idk how many rounds and abuse the crap out of it also neglect to properly clean. Thanks for the replies!!
 
Are you sure that it is rusted? The lacquer can appear to be yellowish.

Grab some lacquer thinner, a bore brush that will fit in the chamber only (I've used a 20guage in the past), scrub the crap out of it until you can put a Q-tip in the chamber that does not turn color.

Also, I just replaced my ejector tonight as I would still have a problem now and then. I now realize that my ejector was worn out as well. Marstar sells them for the VZ-58

most likely lacquer build up in the chamber from your surplus ammo. give it a really good scrubbing as it tends to build up and hold the empty cases in place.

Lacquer thinner and a M14 brass chamber brush will work and if you got some extra time on your hand try JB Bore Bright. Works quite good ;)
