I don't get it... If it worked on that whitetail buck in your photo, it should work on an actual moose...

I think it died from laughing to hard when it saw you only had a .308win.....I thought everyone knew you need a super wizzbang magnum with super premium bullets to kill a moose!!!
congrats on the moose!

The rack in the photo does appear to be deer'ish -- well done! All hail the .308!

ya, well, I came across him 1 1/2 hours into the first day of the hunt. We have 2 draws to fill.
Wasn't about to pass him up! He'll be prime eating. Even though his antlers DO look a bit whitetail-ish.
Still looking for number two. Maybe he'll be bigger!

Alas, my Cooper M52 .270 all stainless did not arrive in time for this hunt.
I've been pestering Prophet river but these things can't be rushed I guess.

My first moose succumbed to an old out-dated 6.5x55. Out of a surplus rifle no less!

Must have been an old fashioned moose. Behind the times

You could just buy an off the rack Savage and write COOPER in nail polish on the receiver?

Yep, those little guys are eaters... I have taken a few big bulls, but not by choice... I'm primarily a meat hunter... And I am generally looking for a two year old bull... Good eats!
