i have acquired a case of these and they are in excellent shape. Does anyone know if they are a hard or soft primer? I was hoping to use them to load up some ammo for my M1 Garand but i am concerned about slam fires. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have used a lot of these primers amd my experience is that they are an excellent product and I think they are on the hard side of things. They should work just fine for you in your Garand. just make sure they are seated just below flush on the case head and you should be good to go.

Thanks a bunch Graydog! I'm using 50 grains of IMR 4895 and a 150 grain boat tail bullet which is supposed to be the original load for the Garand. And yes. I'm definetley making sure the primers are seated deep enough. Thanks again! Steve.
