Late night jw105 purchase

Nice grab .. If you do not reload .. Save your brass for resale .. To many semi-autos ding the cases .. They will fire form back to proper size, but alas only for the micro second it takes for them to get dinged again ... VZ's hate brass.

The bolts are interesting in those units .. ( revamped .22 design )

I have a jw105 with probably 7000 rounds through it that still shoots an inch at 100. Used to be an honest sub moa gun. When I first bought it, the stock inletting needed to be fixed, there were numerous contact points with the barrel that cause 12 inch+ groups. Fixing the inletting and a jbweld bedding job made the gun a tackdriver. 25 grains of benchmark under 50 gr vmax is a great load for mine.

i dont know about the 105 but i had a 15.
norinco bolt action tend to have internal part real burred and ugly. you might want to open up your bolt and check.
ive seen several norinco rimfire stop working because of gunk in the bolt.

On the local bookface page, someone got a coyote with a jw105. That'd be good enough endorsement for me.

I used to own a jw105 but have since sold it. It was a great rifle, reliable and crazy accurate with WWB 45 grain. Used to shoot clover leafs at 100yrds.

I still have a small horde of the winchester 45 gr hp. They are the most accurate factory rounds in my jw105.

Yup. I hear ya.
I was up at the range one day with it and there was a guy with a heavy barrelled tikka in .223 shooting hand loads. He was showing me his targets and was pretty proud with how accurate his rifle and handloads were . I didn't have the heart to show him the groups I was getting with the cheap old norinco and WWB. That rifle could seriously shoot. Only sold it because it had norinco stamped on it which was a really stupid reason. Ended up replacing it with a rifle that cost me about 3X as much but it didn't shoot any better.

I will try the JB weld bedding & making sure the barrel is floated.
If it doesn't shoot, No big lost.
I really just want to find a use for those cheap WWB JHPs
