I have a Savage model 11 Trophy Hunter XP bolt in .243 and my reloading manual (at this point) is a Speer reloading manual #14
So far I haven't been able to find anyplace in Canada that sells Speer reloading components.

I have no problem using Hornady or Nosler; but I just wanted to start with what the Speer manual suggested.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try calling Del Selin?
Site sponsor and has a decent supply of reloading inventory.
Tuesday to Saturday nine to five.
I know he just enjoys the heck out of me when I call ten to five.

Thank you,
I had a look on their website but they do not have anything in .243
regards
Their website is horrible they don't list half the stuff they carry, try calling them through mail order or look in their catalogue, they are listing the following in .243/6mm: 70gr TNT, 75gr HP, 85gr BTSP, 100gr BTSP, 100 gr Grand Slam, 90gr SP.
I buy lots of Speer Bullets, and I mostly get them from WSS.

"...what the Speer manual suggested..." Don't worry about that. You load for the bullet weight. Who made is doesn't matter.
"...haven't been able to find anyplace in Canada..." You're not looking hard enough.
"...do not have anything in .243..." Anything 6mm? Same thing.

Thanks for all the information and sorry I didn't get back to this thread.
I figured more or less that loading for the bullet is the important part and yes, I realize that .243 = 6mm. :)

Anyway... I will check Wolverine tomorrow.
Looking for

Speer 70gr TNT HP and
Speer 100gr Spitz BT or GSSP
