This is 95% how I choose, the other 5% I base on cosmetics(how nice and reusable the crate is, color, finish)

My list in order of how I like it from crates I currently have, As for shooting it other than the smell of different powders I've never seen a noticeable difference in how its performed

Czech 1 easily, It also comes on stripper clips
Romanian 2 Quality seems the nicest to me, lacquered sealed bullets and primers
Russian 3 Looks like all the other copper washed rounds(chinese Bulgarian), Ugly I think
Chinese 4 Same thing, Although There is Chinese rounds with lacquered green steel which I prefer over copper washed steel

Czech is my favorite of the Eastern European blends. Haven't tried the Chinese stuff, not likely to start anytime soon either. Too much Czech ammo sitting in the basement.
 
i have some of this ammo made by Sako, comes in real nice brass but it is Berdan primed. I no longer have a x 39 rifle so if some one from Edmonton would like to pick up this sako product you could PM me. It is a little more expensive than the bulk stuff. FS
 
Czech simply because they all come on stripper clips and I don't have to deal with spam cans.

Russian because I love that distinct smell of rotten eggs with every shot... :)
 
A local CTC manager asked me which country x39 to bring in, Russian-1400 rnds, czech,1200 rnds on stipper clips but more expensive than Russian , Romanian, S&B, not sure what country, year of man between 1970's and mid 1980's! Anybody have suggestions! I said Russian due cheaper and more ammo but I know everyone likes the Czech!! Also bringing in x54 Russian but can get S&B! This is a chance for locals and across the country to chime in! Thanks for your help!
