Savage Axis stock

I have googled and searched youtube for the answer to this one with no luck. Apart from the Boyd's stocks is there any way to improve the stock on a Savage Axis. Don't get me wrong I have no issue with the Boyd's stocks and honestly I like them, it is a classic "it's not you, it's me" scenario with the stocks though. The issue is I am a left handed shooter with a right handed rifle, so the stocks from Boyd's have the comb raised on the wrong side. I am going to try to get in touch with them tomorrow to see if I can order a stock without the raised comb, but would like to have my bases covered in the event I have to try a diy fix on my current stock.

Im a lefty and shoot right handed guns. This boyds stock fits the bull perfect. Currently its the only stock made for the axis as well

No why would it bother me? Nothing on me touched that side of the stock. The right side of the stock is flat as well. Best of all the stock doesnt fold in half when you put a little weight on it.
 
The fact that the axis stock is so flimsy is why I want to change it out. Looks like a prairie hunter might be on my christmas list. Thanks for the input

Yes, I have ordered 2 stocks from Boyd's. They used to have a $100 limit (not including taxes and shipping) for international customers. Now it is a $500 limit. They are not allowed to ship us the Tacticool stocks anymore. Or at least I couldn't buy one recently.

I have been thinking about getting an Axis but was leery about the crappy stock. Now that someone has an aftermarket stock I may have to pick one up.
 
Ok, can someone post a pic of how they hold the mag in the stock on the short-caliber model ?
I use to built Axis stock and I know it was one of the problem to overcome for them.
