...You thank it for it's service (100,000 rds) and you run don't walk to buy another!

Thanks goes out to Carbon Caster for the replacement so my family can maintain our skill set
After a replacement bushing from the original generation (Ryan from Blueline @ no cost) the gun was running like a champ. If I had a stoppage of any kind it meant it was time for a cleaning is all. Hoppes 9 and a boresnake= back in business.
A few weeks ago the gun light struck the round, then the same to the next and the next...I took it home to detail strip and clean this time around the firing pin channel and I found this little block of aluminum(2nd pic, lower left) which didn't seem to come from anywhere. I reassembled and dry fired 1,2,3, snap! Firing pin broke!(2nd pic, upper right is the back of the firing pin)
A serious bummer as I found these pistols to be an excellent training TOOL for their bigger brothers

For those who don't own one, the GSG has a nice heft to it and the magazines are well built. The gun holsters the same as any 1911 and controls are identical, so practice to ones heart content doesn't break the bank. (even though 100,000 rounds=$5,000
{over several years
})
As this pistol is nicely "broken in" I plan on shipping it to Ryan at Blue Line to see if anything can be done to salvage my precious... does anyone have any experience with the ZRTS upgrade stuff that they can share? {potential upgrade, hmmm?}
How many rounds does your GSG have down range? Don't be shy with the pics.
