Just a quick note, everybody -- our first shipment of the 10/22 drum mags from German Sport Guns has come in! These are 110-round rotary drum magazines suitable for use in your Ruger 10/22 rifles (and licensed copy versions such as Tactical Solutions X-Ring rifles, Tactical Innovations ELITE22 and CH22 receivers, Magnum Research .22LR ultralight rifles, Volquartsen rifles, and more!) that let you rip through your .22LR stash without reloading -- a definite plus on those days when you want to chase a tin can around the range berm or play with self-resetting plates!

What's the Canadian version? One limited to 10 shots because of the Charger handgun, which shares the same mag as the 10/22.

"Canadian version" lmao. If you read the ad these are the Mark 2 version, whatever that is. This GSG drum mag saga is laughable. Too bad because they sure seem to be a great product, from all reports much better than any 10/22 drum mag available prior.

These magazines are completely legal in Canada for use in 10/22 pattern rifles and came to us from one of our usual distributors -- there's no concern about their legality whatsoever, and warranty is handled here in Canada by our distributor's warranty center. I haven't heard of them needing any warranty service yet, but the warranty would be handled inside Canada's borders, so no worries there.

Cheers,
Daniel

The important question is will these fit in the sr22 without modification? The one I bought from sfrc did not and I almost ended up ruining the mag trying to file it.

So are these the official canadian version blue line activities has been talking about or not? According to them gsg had no intention of these mags getting to market.

Mine works great in my Nomad...I got one on the first ones available.
Some attention is required loading it...a nice rhythm set up between thumbing the disc around, and placing the rounds in...practice.

GSG 10/22 110 Round Drum

The entire head is solid Aluminum. However in my personal case of fitting it into my SR-22 it would NOT fit without slight filing on the bottom "flares" of the head. When trying to load it and seat it in my SR-22 mag port it would not line up in the receiver properly and I could not load it or even keep the mag in. I have shot a Box of 550 Federal rounds through mine and the internal feeding mechanism (fake plastic dummy rounds in a strip) has broken internally and I have to send it back for a new one.
However, with that being said I fired 5 full drums flawlessly after the slight modification and cant wait to get my replacement one back.

I believe Blue Line stated that their mags would be packaged in boxes stating that the mag ONLY fit 10/22 rifles and not the 10/22 & SR22 like some of the "non-Canadian" packaging had.

This is Wanstalls Online forum!

Issues by other retailers are best left out of it.

If there is any problems with this mag, you can rest assured that Wanstalls will make it right.

I had numerous dealings with Wanstalls, and they always do all they can for the customer.

Keep in mind, you are dealing with one of the best retailers we have on CGN, and not some fly by night operation.

That's all ya need to know about these mags. Or you can wait 3+ years for their official release from the "official distributor" and get the same mag in a box that says " Canadian edition" on it.
