I know the Buckmasters are cheaper. That was the category they were in. Are the Monarchs much better scope ?
I am looking for good optics but I do not need to see the nuts on gnat at 1000M and something that tracks well and probably the most important thing is a scope that holds its zero evan if the power ring is turned up and down.
I've had good luck with the 3200 series bushels but I'm after something new and a bit better but not Schmidt and Bender though.
They are excellent bang for the buck series of scope but unless you are near a Cabela's going to be pretty tough to find. They have been discontinued and been replaced by our new Prostaff 5 series. Cabela's however still has some end of line stock if that's what you have your eye on.
Monarch is superior, but they are also close to twice as expensive as the Buckmaster. I don't think you'd notice much difference between a 3200 and a buckmaster. FS
