We have seen these way north of $2000, some models $3000

Currently they are floating at $2000

Now with the various import options available, Gunbroker is a very nice option.

PS90's are $1200. And with some auctions they go for under $1100.

Is there a price that would be considered a 'To good to pass up' deal. The added $200 + shipping import cost not included.

These have been on a want list for some time. Might consider an XMAS gift for myself.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

The PS90 is cool. No recoil, super handy and excellent ergonomics. Except for mag changes, but you are supposed to have 50 there not 5. Plus in the US they add the doubler so you have quick change between two 50 round mags. Really like mine. But yes ammo is hard to get and expensive. Neat little round though. Cool design. Fun firearm.

Under 2K is good. If you can get one for $1500 then you are laughing. Go for the one with the tri rail, not the standard. The standard is Ok (the one I have) but the rail is high.

Non restricted Storm on left with bull barrel. Restricted PS90 16" barrel on the right.

If I had free money the ps90 would be on my get list because it is awesomely cool, and I loved it in the james bond nintendo 64 game ;)

The 16" standard PS90 isn't hard to get. But the short barrel is not

Look at the gun broker and both the FN factory and CMMG aftermarket 10.3" barrel are cost almost near $1000 if you can ever find one

Non existant. I was ready to buy one a month back. I have always loved this gun. I looked through every website in canada and no ammo anywhere. And who knows if questar will ever get any. Never mind the very high price on it.

if anyone is interested i have 531 rounds of 5.7x28 - fnh not federal for sale- asking $300 plus shipping -that is for 10 1/2 boxes.
i know wrong section but seeing you were talking about it. questar was asking $35 for one box plus shipping for the same ammo.

Would love one of these converted to non restricted

That's another nice thing about the PS90. It will still look good in non restricted form.

I will say it's a very fun firearm. Well designed and just cool. Excellent ergos. Love the way the ambi charging handle works, the safety , brass ejection and takedown work. Plus it's very comfortable and points great. The ammo situation sucks. You end up paying twice as much as what the Americans pay and that's if you can find the ammo here.

If looking to shoot a lot of reasonable priced and easy to find ammo then I'd suggest the CX4 storm. It's the practical version. It's not a PS90 but it sure offers a lot of similar options in a much cheaper and much easier to obtain package. Almost a bullpup, ambi (ejection can be changed left or right), pistol ambi ergos, one pin equal sized two piece take down and also looks good in non restricted. Ammo in 9mm is easy to get and reasonable priced.

The CX4 storm is the sporty sedan while the PS90 is the garage kept taken out once a while sports car.

You can only reload them once or twice.
There is a special coating on the casings which if removed makes extraction extremely difficult.

I have a recipe in my reloading stuff. I recall being advised to wash the brass in greens to avoid removing the coating. I was told this substantially increases reloading.

If it was one complaint I had with the FS2000 it was the stock. It fit me pretty decently and I found it comfortable enough, I just dislike the idea of a thumb hole stock, and the cramped real estate - it limits how the rifle is held.
The PS90 is afflicted with the same design constraints plus it includes wonky (and expensive) mags.
Good little fun gun with lots of cool features, but for me it would be a safe queen I think - there are more practical sub-guns out there for cheaper, and just as much fun with little to no drama.

I think you would have to give it a try. I find because it's so small that it just seems vey handy not cramped. Also the front loop thumbhole for the weak side hand helps make the PS90 feel like an extension of your hand. The front thumbhole also allowes you to hook your support hand thumb to easily use the charge handle with your weak side index finger. Extremely slick. The PS90 is ergonomic art.

The only negatives are that the barrel is sleeved although a FN barrel. Also the mag limit being 5 not 50. With 50 rounds the mag system wouldn't be an issue. Especially with the mag doubler giving you 100 rounds quick acess.

True ambi. The rounds eject out the bottom. Also no recoil. It really is fun to shoot. Just not so much fun finding or paying for ammo.

I'd handle one before writting it off. While I shoot my Storm more, I haven't ever considered getting rid of my PS90. In fact I even considered getting another one in non restricted. It is that nice to shoot. Just put a red dot on it and you're laughing!
