I'm going to be ordering my 650xl from Dillon this week and wanted to know how everyone like the Dillon carbide dies. I'm debating whether to run the Dillon dies or Lee dies. Any opinions will be appreciated as I can't find any reviews of the Dillon dies.

Thanks, Andrew.

when I will order my 650xl, I will also order the dillon dies, just to try those. Are they better? no clue.
cant help, tell me when you get them :p

The only thing I hate about the Dillon dies is that you can't lock the ring. Besides that they are good dies.

If you want lockrings, get them from any other manufacturer.... they all fit.
But honestly, I don't see a need for lockrings on a progressive press? My reg lockrings have never came loose.
Only use I see is on a single stage press, when you want to quickly remove and reinstall dies without adjustment.
On a progressive, you change the whole turret anyway.

Have lots of Dillon dies EXCELLENT Just use the lock rings from Hornady they come in I believe 6 packs.

Wow, that was quick, I ordered a Dillon 650 Sunday night and just got the tracking info and it should be here on Thursday, I don't know if everything I ordered was in stock though, we'll see.

Got my order from Dillon in today, everything was shipped and nothing was backordered.

For those wondering what the shipping cost are like ordering straight from Dillon, my shipment weighed 94lbs (yeah I bought a lot of stuff) and the shipping came to $202.46 I placed the order Sunday evening and it came this afternoon.
