Hodgdon's website does as well.
what are you wanting to load? i mostly do 440gr, 550gr, 575gr, 600gr, 650gr, 700gr. though i only got some molds for the last 2 recently.
Where did you get the 700 grain mold? I'm wanting to put together some novelty loads with 700 grains...![]()

Thanks, looking for different powders, I read the John Ross stuff pretty cool using rifle powder, thats the info I would like to get, rifle powders I usually have lots of on hand, but I find it very hard to get H110 and win 296 locally, I can pretty much forget some of the other powders listed never ever seen them locally.. I am loading the 300 hornady, the 400 sierra and the 500 hornady in limited numbers, most of my loads are with the 440 cast, fully dressed they weigh in at 456 grains..
When I had my 500 S&W, I used full cases of IMR4198 and BLC-(2) for bullets weighing from 400 right up to 700 grs.
A full case of any powder as slow or slower than H4198 can be used right up to the heaviest bullet - even the 700 gr.

I don't list starting loads, but I wouldn't go any lower than 80% of the full case. I did not try H335, but did use WC-735 which is a bit faster. A full case of H335 would be fine, even with the 700 gr.
Here are some loads I used in my NEF Handi-Rifle in 500 S&W with the MiHec 700gr:
OAL 2.575"
IMR4198 - 40.0 grs (full) - 1450 fps
WC-735 (a surplus ball powder a bit faster than H335) - 50.0 grs (slightly compressed) - 1550 fps
BLC-(2) - 48.0 grs (full) - 1200 fps
The 1550 fps load was PAINFUL

have you tried lilgun? how does that compare pain wise? it seems to be the most "painful" powder i have used (lilgun, h110, 4227, 4198, trailboss, 2400)
The "pain" in that load is not from the powder used, but the recoil from a 700 gr bullet being pushed 1550 fps from a light gun.
I used Lil'gun and H110 like everyone else, and while they can make some very stout loads, you won't get quite the MV you will from 4198 and WC-735 with the heavier bullets. My personal favourite was BLC-(2) - it was a pleasant, accurate, moderate pressure load.
