E-Lander Mags

I picked up one to check it out but haven't been able to take it to the range as CHAS has been doing upgrades the past couple weeks.

Looks beefy as heck and built like a tank (heavier gauge than standard AR15 mags and carbon steel, so more flexible than the C-products S.S. mags), but seems like a lot more friction for feeding than a Pmag. Seems to cycle snap caps with no issues though.

I got two from Wolverine a while back for use in my DD. I have had them out three times shooting from a bench and they have worked flawlessly. I shoot the 10rd pistol mags for three gun, so I haven't really put the E-Lander mags through any rough use.

Because of the LAR15, AT15 and P Mags, nobody wants these 5/30 steel mags. Everyone I know doesn't own any and I sure do 't want any.

I'm not sure what you just said holds any water. I'm sure there are all sorts of people that still like using steel mags. I have both pmags and usgi mags and love them both, but prefer the feel of the usgi mags.

Not personally a fan of the lar mags. Not enough to grab onto, have had feedin problems with the, as well as I am not a fan of coupled mags having open rounds on the bottom should I hit the ground with one in my rifle.

No everyone has drunk from the Magpul Kool-Aid bucket. Now I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with the mag-pul mags, cause there isn't, I own a couple, but considering the amount of the E-landers that have moved out the door I think there is quite a few people out there who like them, myself included.

A consumer who only shoots 5 rounds from a mag. can buy 10 Pmags for $150. Or 6 E-Landers for $150.

That is THE ONLY factor that decides what a consumer - Who is restricted to 5 rounds, at a Range - buys.
