Surplus Garands from South Korea westrifle.com

I just want to watch the '06 shells fly and end with that signature PING as the block ejects. If it's worn out, then I look at it like its been through battle. If it works for a couple years then conks out on me, i'll clean it up and put it on the wall (above the fireplace?). I'm not picky. lets say $500 for something decent.

No doubt a good many will be parts guns but that's ok lots of us will buy cheap and rebuild and lots will pay for the primo versions,,I wan't one or two of each!! Parts gun $150--primo up to $1000 and of course grades in between...

Or the way WESTRIFLE has their guns advertised? Lol, check out their site! They sent me exactly what was in the pictures.

Love shopping there for that reason !!! :) .
& I would be in for one at a reasonable price given condition..not fussy ..even just a good shooter at a good price would be nice to join the garand club :) love the history and the rifle but not the current overpriced ones
400-650 for a good shooter maybe?

Can these be redone to 9.3x62? How difficult would that be and can they handle that kind of power?

9.3x62 actually runs at a lower pressure than 30-06 .

for all intents and purposes it is nothing more than 30-06 necked up to 36 caliber .

I would imagine that there is some sort of adjustable gas block out there to help in getting the action to cycle properly .

For unknown Surplus. $250. Could be damaged stock, sights, poor bore, maybe even unsafe. These would be Rifles tossed in a pile.

Rifles, used, but cleaned. Stored reasonably well. Good Stocks, Very Good Bore, No Damage. $400-$500. Maybe a 'Hand Select" option

Rifles from a Crate, stored in a warehouse. Un-issued. $800

Sergey,
I know this is a Garand thread, but do you have info on any M1 carbines being released as well?
