I have found that all the steel cased Russian .223 such as Wolf, etc. is under-powered. Shoots ok as far as accuracy goes, but doesn't hold a candle to 5.56 loads such as the Norinco stuff.

You mean the grossely out of wack quality control of the projectile sizing of the Norinco crap??!!

I'm certainly not saying the Wolf and other Russian ammo is good, just so we're clear.

Those are such small cases in which norc ammo has undersized projectiles or tears cases compared to how many 100s of 1000s of rounds have sold in Canada that I wouldn't label Norc ammo as sh!t. Just label it as cheap plinking ammo


Back on topic. I'd like to know how the 62gr Tula performs also

Or any of the Tulammo 223. It's not quite as cheap as the Norinco stuff, but to be honest I haven't liked the Norinco stuff since I opened up a box of 20 and 2 of the projectiles fell out. The funny part was there wasn't any powder in the box or the brass so really iffy on using the rest of the Norinco stuff I have left.

Just so that we are clear, I am not saying Norinco = quality. Just so that we are clear, I am was talking about the Wolf being underpowered, whereas no one is going to say that the Norinco is underpowered - undersized and poor quality at times - yes. Underpowered no. Just so that we are clear.
