Wanting a dominion arms mag fed grizzly review

I love how guys say, it's super reliable all I had to do was this... Or, it's super reliable the only issue I've had was this.. That's not anything I would trust my life to. As I said, range toy only.

You should read what was posted, I said my only issue was with aftermarket mags not the shotgun. The shotgun as delivered has been 100% and after 500+ rounds through it I have not had one failure. So yes I would say it is reliable.

But only with one magazine? What does a removable box magazine do for you besides make a streamlined design not so streamlined?

I've owned 4 of them and about 15 different mags. Non fed 3" shells very well at all. But they all fed 2 3/4 perfect (as in ZERO failures). The trick is torun it like you stole it. Don't hesitate or baby the slide. Rack it hard and fast and it never skips a beat. I didn't have one mag that caused any issues at all. My last one came to me a little more used than the others and was substantially smoother than my newer Remington 870. They definitely benefit from a break in period.

I would have absolutely no issues trusting my life to one In the wilderness or a home defence situation. I wouldn't take it to Afghanistan and trust my life to it there... But id have concerns trusting my life to an AR in that situation too... Grizzly mag fed's are great.

Agreed! After a decent break in mine has run flawless. I did polish the chamber as well. May have made a difference im not sure but my out of the box FTF's are non existant now. Im about 300 shells in

Mine needed 20 shells to break in. After that it s been runing nicely. I am at 200ish shell mark. Cannot comment on koeeam magS

Well if it is a bush gun and you are on a quad going on and off FSR's and want to follow the law about a loaded firearm, perhaps a quick load (mag) may be more desirable. Same thing for Home Defence

Guess it is all about what you want it for.

I have 3 mags = 15 shells. How fast can you load and shoot 15 rounds in a tube fed? Ill have to have a competition with my buddies and their tube feds.

Use your new mag to hit the mag release itll speed it up alot if your mags drop free me and my buds had the same race.

Anybody know about the screw in choke? Buddies was hand tight and easily backed out. So the inside of the bbl is threaded and probably takes Rem chokes??... don't know for sure. The choke threw me off! Its like choking a pistol!! LOL

Is there a question in there somewhere?

Yes. Did you know it was choked? And why would they choke such a short bbl? What chokes fit? Will the choke affect slug shooting? Hows your day going? How are the folks?

Grizzlys don't come threaded for chokes. If yours or your buddies is, it was done after it was purchased. Many say the barrel walls are too thin to thread.

I burnt supper for the guys at work so kinda crappy, I have a 8" that I got threaded for chokes just to help out with clay busting with my buddies. The only choke you can shoot a slug through is a extra full or turkey choke.
