Bought one last year in mint + condition for $425 plus shipping. The guns were $400-$550 brand new years ago so realistically they aren't *worth* much more these years later.. it's a matter of what the market will bear. List it and name your price.. if it's too high it simply won't sell. You may get lucky and find so one who collects them or wants one bad enough to pay the extra premium.
Any less, and someone will just buy it to resell for an inflated price. It's a popular out-of-production gun that sell for more than when they were new.
I did not have 950 to spend so I passed .. BUT one was marked DELUXE on the tag ..
Not sure if the stock was made with different wood or the gun was something special about it
best marketing thing for a sales tag " $ 1200 marked down to $750 " when in reality the regular price is 750 so some joe blow thinks he's scored a wicked deal but not really. I ve seen it done many many times.
Realistically $550 to 600. They are a popular out of production rifle. I have one of the older ones and really like it. But they are not worth huge dollars some fellas want on the EE for them. Like anything they are worth what someone is willing to give. And I suppose there is the odd fella with more money than brains that pays the high prices.
Great dogging and bush gun though. Was carrying mine yesterday while in a spruce swamp looking for a downed deer.
