Type 97NRR vs Type 97 CSR?

I'm more concerned about when we are gonna even see CanAms rifles.

ETA on their site is Fall 2013...

FAIL!!!

Don't worry, all the items on the T97 wishlist are being implemented by Norinco technicians directly on the shipping vessel as we speak. Should be here on schedule!

Armalite Rifle number 15's acronym has become attacked and demonized by the left. How sanitized can you get?

It's a name. If one wants to attribute emotional characteristics to a name to push their agenda, they will. It won't matter what it's called. Don't pander to them.

With all this name fear, maybe kimber should change its name. They wouldn't want to be confused for kinder surprise candy and get banned too in the US.

NRR status is something that the RCMP assigns a certain gun. I can design a fully automatic assault rifle and call it the MDNRRR (Most-Definitely-Non-Restricted-Rifle, Really) but I doubt the RCMP would classify it as a non-restricted firearm.
Another reason we should name it CSR instead of NRR:

Right now on the Wikipedia page for the Type 97 NSR, "On April 28, 2013, Norinco's new EMEI T97NSR has been classified as a non-restricted firearm by the RCMP"

But then, if we call it the NRR, "On April 28, 2014 (You know we aren't getting it until April of next year earliest :p), Canadaammo's modified T97 Non Restricted Rifle has been classified as a non-restricted firearm by the RCMP"

See what the problem is?
