My 2nd Smith, a 627 Performance Center, 8 round of 357mag. I can honestly say this is the most beautiful and well built gun I've ever held in the short time I've has my PAL, the single action trigger is light and crisp and the DA fairly light and smooth at around 8lbs. Lock up is really tight and uniform on all eight chambers and cylinder to forcing cone gap is at .005" on all chambers.

Needless to say I can't wait to get it to the range.

Good stuff. Let us know how she shoots.

I just recently picked up a Performance center M&P R8 and she is a dream. A little outa the norm but its a 327 at heart.

A 627 is definately on my list of to gets. Such a ###y gun, I'm jealous.

I got this one at ww w.shooterschoice.ca Roger is great to deal with, I think I've bought 4 guns from him over the past few months.

Im sure i saw that revolver on the EE awhile ago. He was asking a nice penny for it too.

Am I ever glad I've gotten into the habit of completely disassembling every gun I buy, this thing didn't have a single drop of oil in it, completely dry.

Wonder if the MIM stuff is lube impregnated?

Interesting forcing cone... ...is that what the Taylor concept looks like?

Only MIM parts are the trigger and hammer, even if they were saturated with oil that still leaves a lot of dry parts. There was literally more oil in the little Ziploc bag that the 3 moon clips game in than on/in the entire gun.

Same model, different gun, this is new. I remember that ad, I think he wanted close to $1600 for it, he had a couple of other Performance Center models as well.

Yes the guy is always trying to Goug someone. Roger at Shooters choice in Alberta sells the same gun new for almost $300.00 less.
