Guisan posted some interesting pics at the Swiss Rifle Message board forum.

I really enjoyed firing target crossbows at the Swiss Mountain Range Club when I visited there.
Really makes you aware of your finger tip placement when it gets hit by the 5mm thick steel bowstring travelling at full speed.

Sure puts the little aluminum shafts and nylon strings to shame!

THIS (apart from the Schmitt-Rubin half) is much like what a military crossbow of the 15th Century was like.

Thanks for showing!

ha: The shooting blind I understand. {I would wear it as well, if peckerheads are circling like crows with flash mounted cameras} But the motorcycle jacket is just a bit over the top!?

Everyone should watch the vid, if nothing else it serves as a warning as to how low humanity (or Europeans at least) would stoop if they take away our firearms "privileges" here.:stirthepot2:

Having said that the OP's looks like a friggen instrument of death...and I want one...bad!:dancingbanana:

If the shooting clothing is "over the top", then why are ALL the serious competitors in international rifle and crossbow using them?

...well isn't the answer obvious!? So everyone {who's anyone} can tell at a mere glance that they are "serious competitors" in international rifle and crossbow circles. The clothes certainly make the man don't you know?:stirthepot2:

In my neck of the woods, the "In gang" at the Trap club always wear Stanfields & jeans. I hung up my "hey look at me" clothes years back.

I sure love that older model 30m crossbow though. Another Swiss work of art.:)
