I bought a HC3R mag from you guys. I haven't had any luck with it. I've tried AE, dynapoint and win HV. All stovepipe after each round. I've kept the packaging. Just wondering if I could exchange it for a different one?
I've heard there might be a bad batch.
Thanks for your time!

I had to lightly file and polish the lip on mine to get them to work, try comparing it to the stock Ruger mag, you 'll see the difference and how far you can go.

Yep watched the vid a tonns of times.
The feed lips are different. If there is a chance to exchange the mag, it would be wonderful instead of modding the hc3r mag.

I'm in Calgary too, and bought my HC3R at TSE. I was at the range the other day with my buddy and we both had our SR22's with us. He was intrigued by my magazine after I showed it to him, and asked to try it. I've been running Federal blue box bulk in it with no problems at all when loaded correctly. We tried loading his CCI Blazer (the crap in the white plastic trays which isn't actually made by CCI) and it wouldn't load properly at all. After it did, he still experienced many of the same issues you've experienced. Then I put my Federal bulk stuff in and it worked perfectly.

So, while this may not exactly be a very scientific test, I've concluded that I think these mags are picky with ammo that is put in them. I was going to buy more of them, but I already have 3 Ruger OEM 10-round mags and one HC3R and I think that's probably enough for my needs. Otherwise I'd buy your HC3R's off you.

I bought 2 of these, one has been nearly perfect..... The other I have stopped using. I tried co pairing lips, cleaning polishing all of the above.... Strangest thing ... It works way better with cheap .22 ammo than CCI

Are you having a wax issue? I found that's been the leading cause of problems in every mag I've ever had. My go-to for checking feeding/stovepiping issues is Stingers; if the stingers work then the mag is ok, and it's a problem with my ammo. And it's always been heavily waxed/lubed ammo that gives issues.

I have noticed the wax makes a difference too. If I notice buildup on the round I'll scratch it off. Having said that, I have 2 hc3r mags, one stove pipes near the end of the mag nearly every time. The other one works flawlessly. I've shot about 700 rounds mini mags and winchester m22 both work great. I haven't spent any time comparing them for flaws. I will follow up if I find anything
