new canadian made SKS stock Wartak SKAR

I'm one of the retailers for this new rifle.
They're Russian refurb SKS's which are included and installed in the system. The mags are proprietary but fully AR compatible as are the butt stock and pistol grip, all of which are included in the system. The bipod and foregrip and optics are just in the photo for display purposes. Eventually there will be chassis sold alone but not currently at this time.
As you are one of the dealers selling them, can you confirm that they take an unmodified ar15 mag, if so that's great as we could use 10rd xcr 762x39 mags.
if its a modified ar15 "style" mag then we are stuck at 5rds of 223 or 3rds of 762x39. as that's all that will fit I na pinned 5rds ar15 mag.

jeeze Im torn.....

I think the price is reasonable... considering it comes with the gun.... but I would rather provide my own rifle that I hand picked. I want a 54+ chrome lined good condition, not a crap shoot maybe chrome lined maybe not, possibly crooked barrel, torqued up gas piston POS.

10 round mags cool, the rest...lipstick on a pig! Haha just kidding (kinda)

I'll admit they look pretty good but my 175$ sks will shoot just as well, albeit 5 rounds less but hey that's just me. I want see more pics and what not as time goes on.

^^ They cannot run 10 rounds!

As they are proprietary magazines, they are specifically modified for the SKS and therefore fall under the semi-auto centerfire magazine rules of 5 round limits.

I will be $50 dollars that the front of the magazine feed lips is chopped off to clear the receiver.

Like this....

Notice the front of the lips and how they are lower than the follower. That has to be done to the mags to clear the receiver. Or modify the receiver.

With that being said. I fully know just how much work machining a new stock out of alu consists of and the price is more than reasonable.

If Archangel can charge 250 dollars for a plastic/fantastic stock, this stock is not that much more.

If we take the price of an SKS at an average of $200, $550 is the stock. IMO, not bad.

+1 All being said

No modding, they come completely assembled and ready to go. When the chassis are sold seperately it'll be a slightly different story but as they're not at that stage yet and we haven't received the first rifles I can't answer that question yet, sorry.
Sweet that's awesome! How much modding/ machining to do the swap? I will have one of these in my future :)

If it helps, they're all Russian chrome lined refurbs that are hand selected, not crap ones.
