Does anyone actually use there black rifle on coyotes?

Swiss Arms Black Special with 24" "sniper" barrel, shoots 60g VMAX to the same POA/POI as the Swiss FMJ round with my handloads. Leupold VX-3 6.5x20 with the Varmint Reticle.
This is my go to coyote rifle. I'm confident out 500 yards with this. Anything longer I should have called longer or brought the bolt 308.

Ummm so can someone explain to me why bushmaster doesn't just sell on already reclassified? Do any of the sponsors sell that??? I would have never bought my xcr if I knew that was possible. 800 "want to buy a non restricted ar rifle" and none of you decided to make mentioned of that?

You can ask your local dealer to get you a NR ACR there are only a handful of importers like gravel and i think questar. (Should have taken the time to use the search bar and you would have found out the ACR comes in NR also.)
 
No one currently imports NR versions of the ACR... mainly because Bushmaster doesn't make them!!! They are selling all they can make in the 16" versions in the US, so need to sell other models.

Ian Herron at Herron Arms can do the conversion for about 800-1000 depending on the options you choose.

Do it - it's a GREAT rifle and worth the cost! I bought my NR model in the EE for 2800, so deals DO come up once in a while.. you just gotta be FAST. :)
 
Ya it's too late for now. Maybe in a while. I just bought my xcr 223 in the spring. Bought it brand new so not looking to get rid of it

I got lucky and bought it used (500~ rounds) already converted. With ACOG price is just over $4000. But the QuestAr barrel on it is a damn laser.

And what would the price of that be 1911?
 
I use my SwissArms Black Special Target with a Leupold HAMR and Deltapoint. This will be my 3rd season using it as my main coyote calling rifle and I quite like it for this purpose. The HAMR also serves me well as it's only a 4x optic and I find it a happy medium for the 10-200 yard shots I'm faced with.

Sweet, i almost have enough to buy one ans convert it to a NR by March. Any tips on the ACR would be good thanks.
