Chiappa Badger: Great little rifles

They don't make the little badger in th 22mag yet. Just the double badger. But I love mine first 3 shots at a 3" gong made it ding each time at 50 yards.

These guys are back in stock!

Just bought one... (local dealer... Sorry Wolverine) but I love it and anyone that can get one definitely should.... 300 rounds cb long in a 3 hour span.... quick quiet fun :)

Did it come with any accessories?

It came with the Cartridge holder and carry bag. (Little Badger) as well as the standard threaded barrel... (for fun I put an old A2 AR birdcage on it).
I then outfitted with a weaver classic rimfire 3-9X, and half way through I switched that for a VISM red dot with laser.... fun times.

I have a couple spare red dots around, and the bag is great news! I asked if they had one to.sell.with it lol

Just waiting to see on setup with and eotech, a surefire and a t-grip :D
I had an EOtech mounted on mine a while ago (partly for fun/laughs, partly because I was out shooting with my dad and his eyesight isn't as good as it used to be so he was having problems with the peep sight on the Badger). It worked fine, but looked ridiculous and drastically changed the balance of the gun.

It was fun to do for laughs but it came off pretty quick. :p

Bought my Double Badger at Canadian Tire in Riverview, NB just over a month ago. Nice shooting gun ... really like the sights on it.

People have told me the choke is full.
The savage 42 choke is open - which seems pointless.

Actually the open choke on a survival style rifle like the savage or the double badger makes sense. It allows the use of slugs with the 410 and still be useful with shot as the pattern on 410's stays fairly tight for the realistic distances you are going to use such a short firearm full. An open choke will take grouse nicely on a 410, I can speak from experience on that.

I got a double badger and I found the bore it be .375 dead on. According to what I could find on the web that makes it extra full.
