not to be nit pickey, but a full correct would likely be where and what you hit. the what is kind of out of your control on a heart lung shot. you may hit a rib, you may not.
hitting a rib with a smaller lighter bullet can screw up anyone's day. hell hitting a rib using a lead cast bullet can mess up your day as well.

Face shots are the best so no meat is wasted. LOL

I nicked the front leg on my buck last week, while trying to put one behind the shoulder. The bullet tore his heart in two and exited the opposite rib. Complete devastation of that front leg. 260 rem, 130gr Accubond.
Two inches further back would have been nothing but rib, but he was quartering to me...

fast easy, and the animal didnt feel a thing.
as was stated in the original thread with that video, that is a cull hunt where people are only allowed to do head shots. under normal hunting situations head shots arent optimal due to head movement.

Definitely fast. A little gruesome, but a very ethical kill.
A cull hunt eh? What is the reason behind headshots only there? I would think that could have some bad results with injured critters getting away.
the meat goes to market, hard to sell meat to 5 star restaurants with lead, copper and bone fragments possibly in them. that one i think is in England at a ranch. they do them in africa as well on springbuck. much more difficult there as it is at night from a jeep by spotlight. can be out to 400 yards.
