Does anyone actually use there black rifle on coyotes?

i found it in a piece of steel ;)

Smartass. ;)

I believe Gravel Industries can now source bolt/barrel parts, whereas before your only option was to sacrifice the stock barrel to build a new one. Much simpler to buy the parts required and put a new barrel together... gotta love the 'quick change' barrel system. :)

i use mine for hunt too

"...use there..." Where? And if your rifle is non-restricted you can use it for whatever you want. Assuming your Province doesn't restrict calibres. Varmint hunting with your deer rifle is great practice.
"...uses improper grammar..." That isn't a grammar issue. Makes those of us who are literate crazy.

using there when their should of been used is a GRAMMAR issue. and you said "Makes those of us who are literate crazy." i'm literate and it definitely doesn't drive me crazy. :D:)

Here's my addition. These two were used to decimate gophers this summer and will be used to drop coyotes this winter. I've also used the tavor, XCR & SL8 in the past.

i know its not a AR or a Swiss but i just walked in the door from being at my buddies farm, its -32 out and this is what i was using to control the Coyote population tonight.
good old Ruger Mini 14 on a Hogue.
i run iron's on it as i find most glass fogs up when its this cold out on the skidoo or quad.

its black, its under $800, it NR and i can actually hit stuff with it!

you guys can go back to your $3,000 guns again, i just wanted to put something in there for the old married guys to relate too.

I took a deer this season with my Tavor. I posted the photo in another thread.
I would use it on a coyote, but I never seem to see them outside of city limits.

I've taken groundhogs and coyotes with an AR180B, two Swiss Arms (one Target, one standard), and a Colt HBAR (back in the good old days). Ignoring the cool factor, they all suck for that purpose, IMHO. Today, if I want to carry an awkward, heavy .223, it will be a heavy-barrel bolt gun. If I just want an efficient, lightweight and comfortable gun for 'yotes, I'll carry a Mini14.
