Let's see your Remington Model Sevens...

Didn't you have a couple of Model Sevens in Wildcat stocks?

I have had more than my share, the m7 was my "go to" action for quite a few years when I was into ultralights. My interests have changed and I am down to 2. A stainless/laminate 350 and a 250-3000 in a wildcat.

7KS with a Hart 19" 1/14 twist barrel.

Love that rifle. I'll take it! I'm even willing to forgive the brake in this particular case.

I only use the brake at the bench, I have a thread protector that she wears when she goes in the field ;)

Fair enough, I can see the benefit behind that. I'll admit to my shoulder tightening-up after half a box and mine probably goes a pound heavier than yours. Beautiful rifle braked or not.

Well, one of you just scooped a sweet little Model Seven MS in .250 Savage - my favourite chambering in the nicest factory configuration. :(

I called the listing dealer and it was still in the system but he couldn't find it. Went to take a look and it was sold to someone in Alberta.

For many years I used the long barreled rifles (700s). NOW I'M USING THE MOD7 in 300SAuM 22" with a break. This fall it accounted for a buck 4Pt and a young bull Mooose. What more does a hunter need??

Spurly has this one now. I bought the Apex .284 barrel from Mitch Kendal and had them twist it on. The bolt was fluted and I did the feed rails and box adjustments to make it feed the .284 Wincester. With the 22" Tube and Wildcat stock blank I finished and painted it was a super light tack driver. Honest .5" gun with 140TSXs.

here's "mine", although it belongs to my 7yr old nephew. Model Seven Synthetic youth 20" tube, soon to be topped with a Vx3 2.5-8x36 in X'low Talleys. Shoots 100gr Berger BT over 10 grains Trail Boss and he has a great time shooting. When he's a lanky teen I'll order him an Edge
