They don't go bad sitting in a drawer until you need them. Only the ones in the gun go bad after some thousands of rounds so order more than you need to defray the shipping costs.

Also you can get some buddies to share an order to extend the shipping out over more folks and product as long as you stay under the magic amount.

What about guns that you are sort of actively looking to get soon? Order up a spring kit for a trigger job for those as well!

any gunshop should have 1911 springs available. the M&P looks to be solved for you already. If you order one, might as well order them all from brownells.
