Go to EuroOptic.com, pick out your Steyr (make sure it's not an AUG!
) and get Irunguns to import it for you.
I'll bet after your import fee and taxes you will be very close to what a local gunstore will charge you, you'll have your rifle within the month and you'll still be supporting a canadian company.
I've personally used Irunguns services and it has opened up many options for me to be able to browse stateside.

Believe it or not, Canadian Tire on McLeod Trail does.
They may may not have what you want in stock, but they can bring it in. I got my Steyr Scout there.
It took about a week to arrive from the time I placed my order.

I'd crap my pants before I'd set foot in The Shooting Edge again. In fact, I'd rather have the runs for a week than buy anything from them.
I started a thread asking where to buy a Steyr awhile back and some kind members directed me to call that particular CanTire. I'm in B.C. so I couldn't go in the store, just call. The staff member that I dealt with on the phone was an utter tool, completely clueless and unconcerned about doing any legwork to complete a sale.
I was treated same as I would be trying to buy ammo from behind the coveted glass cabinet at my local Crappy here in BC.
I can only imagine the security measures my local CanTire would employ if they ever sold actual firearms at their store, probably have the local S.W.A.T. team on standby to escort you to the front cashier!
F@ck Crappy Tire and their typical "modus operandi" when it comes to anything firearm related.
If I could have walked into the store in person it may have been a completely different situation, I've battled at the customer service counter of CanTire multiple times before over other things.
