Makarov Pistol in 9x18mm?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone is selling Makarov Pistol's chambered in 9x18mm?

I see Interammo has two models but both are chambered in .380 ACP.

Thanks, so the 10 round is a double stack correct? I assume it has a wider grip to accommodate the double stack magazine?

My understanding is the original military and law enforcement makarov's were the 8 round single stack versions, is this correct?
 
^I did the same. I just purchased my 9mm Makarov off of the EE a couple of weeks ago and just received it today. I was fortunate to get one that has a threaded barrel with thread protector. Looks hot! I'll try to post some pic's later on.

I like that a lot Pistolwhiptricks. Even though we can't have suppressors, it makes it looks like there is a reason for the barrel extending past the slide. It looks a lot better to me then the none threaded version.

Did the previous owner have that done custom or did it come from the factory like that?

Would you mind posting a picture of it without the thread protector on?
 
It is the 9mm makarov version. I didn't really ask the original owner if it came like that or if he had it done by a gunsmith but my guess would be that it came like that. I've heard of threaded version makarov's but they are scarce. I don't understand either why they don't import them in this configuaration? Looks 100% better while adding to the cool factor just like a Walther PPQ. I'll takes same picks with the thread protector off for you guys as well.
 
I was interested in a Makarov but I am not sure I want to get into another caliber :confused:

If a Sig P232 was available here (with a CDN legal barrel length), I'd jump on it. I love Sigs.
 
So what are the differences/preferences for the 9x18 vs .380 in reference to the Makarov pistol? Seems the 9x18 is in more demand...
 
I think the 9x18 is more popular because that was the original/classic caliber the pistol was designed for. Plus, the 9x18 has a bit more power than the 380. Cost of ammo is another factor.

I've never owned either caliber but I feel like it's a bit easier/cheaper to reload for .380. You can use light 9mm bullets and there's more .380 brass than 9x18 around.

I actually bought .380 dies thinking I'm going to order one but never got around to it.:( Still have them so there;s hope I guess.
