The Lever Arms crates come with 1x 1980's/1990's 7.62x54R wide mag/stripper clip pouch, 3x standard tools and an oiler. And 2x sets of take down tools per crate. No slings
Recent 91/30 crates have included an oiler and a set of standard tools. No slings and No pouches.
It all depends on what the exporters throw in the crate. My most recent crate had a packing list in the bottom with all the serial numbers (date 2013) - probably un-packed and re-packed as they needed to pin the mags which are at the bottom of the crate.
Earlier imports even came with cloth bags to fit your tools in - luckily I stocked up on those when they were available, but even I am short slings.

If they don't have what has been asked to be selected, then they shouldn't charge for the service of selecting something else. Better yet they should verify that the buyer wants to complete the sale for something else, not just assume the next best thing will do.
Another point of view is if you ask them to go rummaging through their lot of rifles looking for something, then you pay for their time no matter what the outcome. Not saying this is the way it should be.....but it isn't unheard of.
If you call and ask if they have exactly what you want before paying the $25 for the service you are asking them to select for nothing.
When I called and chose to go with the $25 hand select service I asked for "AVT stocks with no repairs if possible. If it is not possible then please select two rifles that you would want to own yourself " I received two rifles in perfect condition in every way with the AVT stocks I had asked for, one rifle even has a sniper notch. Being flexible helps them to help you. The alternative is to not pay the fee, or go and select your own. There is no need to cry.
Funny enough I did not realized what I got until I got home. I bought this one on a occasional trade just because I saw one small feature not very well discussed on collectors' forums. I did not look at numbers at time of the purchase for the reason that I hadn't heard about all-matching rifles and I even did not have a placeholder in my collection for such specimen. Because of the volume of SVT-40 in Canada sometimes we get real gems that are not available elsewhere.

Sure. I get it. But you don't take someone's money for one thing, then send them something else without touching base with them when you realize you don't have that thing they want, just something close.
It is for nothing if you do not keep your end by not paying the select fee. A transaction has to be fair and make both sides happy.
You certainly lucked out by getting more than what you asked for. Wish I could be that lucky.

Here you go my friend. All original parts. All matching with originally stamped, not over-stamped or electro-penciled numbers. Correct stamps on the stock. No repairs and no repair stamps on stock or rifle. They even kept matching trigger group during refitting this one to SVT-40 configuration. So only shellac (one can see the traces of darker original shellac) and refitted trigger group are not 100% original and second change was made during the war for sure. Not sure about shellac. It's still packed in cosmoline inside, but it looks like it is unissued, not like I care to investigate this further. I like her the way she is, maybe shellac will have to go. This is my compensation for all your snipers and svt-38 receivers

For the record, I'm with Red.
"Izzy" is down there with "Mossy", "Remmy", "Winnie", and "shottie" in my books. They sound like the lame hocky nicknames issues these days that are based on diminutives of the player's last name.

Just got mine tonight. A 1941 referb with a 6 port muzzle brake the stock has no repairs and the bore is nice with lots of rifling. This is the nicest svt 40 I have out of my collection and i paid only 199.99! My god this is such a steal. Thanks again lever arms.
