Thankyou ,sir. I have a 6" Monson also from 1976 that's my shooter (4 digit serial). That one has the recessed chambers. Some light marks on it but great to shoot! Feels like a toy compared to my 29-2. Funny how both my DWs have the deep purplish frame.Thats a beautiful gun that DW. Would sure like to find one. I have a 6" 76 Monson and would say its my 2nd favourite. It would look real perty beside mine![]()

OMG! I have exact same gun. But your photograph skill is way better the mine.
Do you have weak strike problem?
Loctite and Tighten the strain screw all the way down.
It is a known issue that is easily fixable.

Just got some work done, trigger job, chamfered the chambers and a bead blast
