Put it up in failing light at 25 yards (depending on size you print) and look at them with your binoculars. it is a good way to see real differences in resolution.

Thanks I was wondering if there was a pattern availlable.
It's easy to tell the difference between bad binoculars and good ones but when they are both trending towards good it gets harder and harder.

If you have a set of calipers handy, measure the outside diameter and I can check if I have a set that fits.

I'll check it out, does it keep the snow from branches off the lenses?

Yup it sure does....I bought one a couple years ago and can't believe I lived this long without.

The difference becomes much easier to see when you use such a pattern. You will also find a noticeable difference if you glass for a couple of hours. You will get eye strain and fatigue much sooner with lower quality optics.
