Well sksavenger now you will know what to do if you manage to fill your tag this year. Please post appropriate pics, deer tagged and rifle policed properly.. Hopefully C will let you have some of her deer if you don't come across a blind, deaf and lame whitetail.

For all the Nancy's posting in this thread, the next time I take a pic, I'll put my finger on the trigger and hide the tag. Heck, I might even take my blaze orange hat off!!!
Seriously, get a life people.
Law says the animal is to be tagged immediately after being killed. Doesn't say after pics, after in the truck, after you get it home, etc. I didn't make the rules, I just follow them.
Don't know what the tag's are like in sask but in Alberta you get one paper tag that is attached at the tendon on the back leg. I would never attach the tag if there was any dragging or loading into a vehicle to be done the animal gets loaded first.
last kind of hassle a guy needs is to run into a conservation officer and explain your tag is gone because it ripped off and is lost in the snow somewhere who knows where, rather have the tag and explain that it will be tagged at the vehicle imo
