hey i came across a used browning bl-22 (grade 2) lever action that is in almost mint condition and is about 30 years old does anyone have an idea what price is worth paying for this?
Edit: I thought you were looking for value to sell, not buy. I personally wouldn't pay $700, but I see MINT vintage BL-22s sell in that range frequently and sell fast if they are indeed mint. I was paid $500 for a BL-22 with bluing loss and stock dents, it sold fast as well. Try to get it for the best price you can, don't expect to pay less then $500, but awesome if can. Good luck
Get the seller to send it here.
I will go over it thoroughly and come up with a prefect price.
P.M. me fer me address.
Whooooooot Santa may come early..........
If you want it. they are really neat little guns with a very short stoke on the lever. You can cycle the action with two fingers without releasing your grip. I'd like another one one day, great little squirrel gun. Taking them apart and reassembling them is an exercise in patience though, complicated little buggers.
Got a grade 1 I paid $450 for, they are small guns, too small for me, but very nice. Mine is a Japan made one, Belgium ones sell for a preminum, I would expect around $550-$600 would be a good price for it, $400 for it would be a very good buy.
