Cool new AR trigger... Tac-con 3MR trigger group.

fast and most importantly accurate follow up shots do have a sporting purpose.
which the tac con is designed for, fast reset match trigger is what they are selling not a spray and pray full auto device.
we need start to take them serisously and stop calling it fun then we may able to use it on this side of the boarder.

Maybe You should read my post again. I said the rcmp won't see sporting purpose for it. I never said I didn't.

I think I recall seeing videos of people running the Giessele 3 Gun trigger that fast.

Watch the guys in the video are trained speed shooters and the trigger itseIf is not all it's cracked up to be.

It's clear exactly what the trigger does; when the bolt carrier moves back into battery, it PUSHES the trigger forwards into the 'reset' position, where your finger pull will pull it back again. If you have a tight enough grip you'll prevent the bolt from going back into battery, so that's probably why they loosened up their grip for it to work 100%.

The RCMP will take it and pull the trigger and it'll unload the whole mag, even if it's pushing your finger forwards every time, they'll call it a prohibited device... with bad trigger slap.

I can almost GUARANTEE the rcmp will classify this as prohibited, I would love to get one but no way RCMP will allow this if they prohibited the slide-fire stock.

For now I'm happy enough with my Geissele S3G :D

I received a bit of info on this, I phoned the tac con and asked this question, will it empty my mag if I keep my finger down with a consistent pressure.
the answer was no, they told me the trigger only pushs your finger so far that your trigger finger has to let go a Little bit more for for a positive reset, very little they told me, enough to prevent one trigger pull full auto fire.
they told me I need actually try it to understand, which means forking out 500 buck..I told them no thanks I'll wait and see lol

I am interested getting one but worry about it will get caught at the custom and charging me for importing prohitbed devices. Still thinking about it.

Tagged for interest. With the mind set of the RCMP and the anti-gun bureaucrats here in Canada, it doesn't matter if it fits in the current rules or not, it will be declared a prohibited device. And if it was let into the country, the antis will start an advertising campaign against it, which I'm sure the CBC would happily do a full hour of at least W5 time on it.

An on top of all that, if the manufacturer doesn't pay for their export manufacture license, it would be exportable out of the US.

I'd buy one for $500. With .50 B mags holding about 15 rounds, we're almost to the point where it would be fun.

what non-restricted guns will this fit in?

I'm not an ar guy so someone please correct me but cant It fit in anything that takes an ar trigger group? So for non restricted I guess that would be the Jr carbine and thureon defense. I could be wrong

If it forces you to let go of the trigger (no matter how small) I'll be a little more hopeful; but It'll definitely be something the RCMP will look at... And considering it has something that interferes with the bolt carrier, who knows it the RCMP will try and file something down to make it full auto (even if unsafe) :(

Remember how little oversight they have into making ANY decisions.
