What are your thoughts and impressions on the Kimber 84L? I am seriously considering getting one in Classic or Classic Select and was just wondering how well they are. What can I expect for accuracy? What do you like or dislike? Thanks for your thoughts and opinions.

Well, you read that thread, no use in posting much more. Have experience with two 84L's now and both are great! Nothing but good things to say about the "L" and will buy another in the future.

Got more blood on the 06 just last weekend and hopefully more in just a few short hours...

I definitely want a 84L. Now the hard part. 270 or 30/06. Once I figure that out then I have to decide if I want the Montana, Classic, or Classic Select. Oh the joys of buying a new rifle.

Cut yourself again? :p :D

The Montana is the lightest, and it's blind mag. The others have a floor plate. I like both equally, so it didn't matter to me. If you like the stainless but not synthetic, there's the Classic Select Stainless. So now you have 4 choices. :D

I just bought a used 84L classic in 30/06 off the EE. I can't wait to try it out.

Right on, congrats!

If you want some load data to try and "work up to" let me know by PM and I will let you know what I have tried. I have had very good luck with Partitions and TSX's as far as hunting loads go. 168g TSX's and IMR4350 was the sweet spot for my "L" in 06.

Thanks crazy davey. The first load I was going to try was the 168 TTSX with H-4350. I will be glad to see what loads worked for you.
