The Great Martian War

Watching the "History" channel now is about as enriching as paying someone to fart in your face.

I agree! The only time they have anything worth watching on is around Rememberance Day. It's far cry from watching the black and white war footage show (Wish I could remember the name of it) that I used to watch with my Dad when I was a child.

The swan song of the history channel. That channel is garbage now. So much pawn starts and restoration bullschitt. And now this? Fictional Sci-fi History?

I grew up on The War Years!! It was a great narrative and lessons learned. I managed 2 minutes with the Martian wars. I am seriously going to drop whatever package thc is part of.

Amazing what enough coffee and google can do for you! The show I watched was called The World at War.

This theme music brings back so many memories - this show was one of the main reasons I have such interest in all things milsurp:

It's still aired, if you order the military channel.

How the History Channel can air a show about something that never happened as "history" has long mystified me. Now its all about driving on ice, flying over ice, restoring/picking/pawning stuff or a double helping of MASH each day, this Martian show is a new low.
