good trade????

I have 1945 No5 Mk1 in excellent shape.
Buddy has 1944 RCAF Long branch in ok shape and needs a little gunsmith work.
he wants mine and i want both, cause i`m greedy.
i can`t even think now. i`ve never seen a longbranch till today
You are suffering from "Enfielditis"!!! There is no known cure for this disease but you can control symptoms by acquiring more and more Enfields.
Symptoms will vary but include: shaking
frothing at the mouth
uncontrollable urge to open ones wallet

I too have also recently been afflicted with this savage disease.

You can always sell a quality milsurp for a fair price or trade today, and then when you regret selling it buy it back again next year for more than you sold it for.

Therefore it is better to always buy and never sell.

I've bought rifles at gun shows more than once and have had people seeing me with them in hand offer me cash on the spot for them. But I held fast!
