Lets get a some lever action #### going

It's a 336ss I swapped the lower tang, lever and rear stock with a 1895gs. She's named "Outlaw" cause it's like a bada$$ Texan Model.

Here is a different photo of a Winchester I posted earlier (I think). It was shipped from the Winchester factory in 1903. It is a 30-30 Take Down with nice wood.

just found a picture of my great grand-parents.... with what seems to be a Win 1892 and a big moose !
Picture taken around 1912-1915. I wonder which caliber it was.

That's an amazing shot! Must have cost a little fortune back then to own a vehicle and take a picture!

Super photo! the underside of the receiver of the rifle indicates it is a Model 1894 like Mike Webb said. Caliber is another question. I'd like to think it was a 38-55.

Great old photo and thanks for sharing. I have one of my Dad from the early 30's I've been told. I wish I knew what rifle he has in it. I 'believe' he was hunting in the Lake Of The Woods area in Manitoba/Ontario.

And another from about the same era. This is of a Mr. & Mrs. Wendle in the Barkerville area. Mrs. Wendle was well known for her forte, hunting Grizzly using a 99 Savage in .22 Savage High Power. I remember seeing four large hides hanging on the wall of the stairwell to the upstairs of their house in Barkerville.
