Question for All the Married/Otherwise Attached Hunters out there :D

My wife hunts, fishes, snowmobiles and shoots targets with me.
We of course do have separate time but we enjoy many common pastimes dealing with guns etc.

My previous wife didn't like guns either.:D:D

She lets me go hunting when ever I want. In return I do the same if she ever wants to go somewhere Its simple. Keep everything relaxed and allow each other to do our own thing. :)

My wife has a bigger buck than me both mulie, and whitie, and by a lot. Cousin says I can shoot his land owners mulie tag this year cause he shoot a book mulie last season.

What is it that your female things do while you're out hunting?

Do they come with you? (Do they hunt as well?)
Do they stay home? (Same ol' same ol'?)
Do they do anything special for themselves while you're away? (Spa time, girls only gatherings...etc etc)

I'd appreciate if you guys wouldn't mind taking a moment to ask your ladies...doing a wee bit of market research here.

Thank you ever so much :D :D

To be brutally honest, I have the ok to go hunting from the other half. However she will not deal/help/look until it no longer looks like an animal. So pretty much til its home wrapped for the freezer.

My wife is not a hunter, but she is totally supportive of my passion. She has shot a few critters, but decided it just isn't her thing. She loves the outdoors and comes with me for some hunts, especially for goose hunts. She just loves to see them come into the decoys.
We were driving home from the city the other day. Saw a flock of Canadas feeding in a field. She turns to me and says, "you know, it's kinda funny but I just can't look at a goose any more and not think "yummy""'
I consider myself very fortunate!

My wife has been complaining about not hunting. We did deer camp for a couple years, but not the past 2. She wasn't a hunter until I met her, now she loves shooting/hunting. I'm lucky.

Here's her last time out:

Mine likes to come along but really isn't interested in the hunt itself so much as the social aspect with friends. She loves to get things set up to cook for the gang when we get back. She will put on a great big brunch and sit and talk with everyone or sometimes just leaves us to our own as she goes about her own doings. She loves to go for walks on the logging trails for grouse with me and if we are near water she can usually be found on the shoreline with a fishing rod in her hand while we are hunting. She loves to fish. She is a cool gal. She is a lot of fun and likes to see the guy's having a blast out hunting.

It is nice to get away with the boys and swear, spit, and not have to watch what you say in this politically correct world we live in.Im probably considered a dinosaur but around here men hunt women cook and I will say she is a lot better cook than I am a hunter.

My husband and I go hunting together. We have other hobbies that the other doesn't share, but hunting and fishing is our "together" activity. I love hunting, there is no way I'd be left behind.

So far the girlfriend doesn't care when I to hunting. Pretty sure she sees it as time for me and my buddies to be "men". Hope to one day to bring her along for the hunt but we'll see what happens

If you could get her shooting and enjoying it, eye'd pay ya triple.

We are both retired now, and often Hunt and Fish together...our house is our Hunt Camp...My wife was a commercial float plane pilot, Tourist Outfitter, with remote Outposts, had her own Flying Minnow Business, ALSO a World Champion Snowmobile Racer...OBVIOUSLY she does whatever she wants, whenever she wants...Sometimes she lets me go hunting with her.

Wow your married to Sarah Palin.

How frickin long do you new guys have to look on here to find a thread that ended 18months ago, just to find something to post in? Good on ya if you can do it using this site search engine. I certainly can't.

But, Holy Resurrection, Batman

Home with the kids. I did convince her to join me on a goose hunt this fall and it was a pretty good time...except I shot like a donkey, but that's normal for a waterfowl hunt.
