I have seen that on globe sporters & it looks terrible.
The Globeco sporters suffer from bad rechambering jobs from 7.62x54 to .303BR.
Bubba strikes. You've turned a $300 rifle into a $50 rifle.
You made an very long, ackward looking rifle, into a very ###y looking carbine.

His gun his choice your opinion. My opinion (who cares) is it may make it a handier hunting rifle to some extent (noise issues aside) might go better with a aftermarket poly stock. But I doubt I would do that to mine. Looks good though.
