Glock22 & Kimber1911 TLE II

you just need to flesh out a top shelf 9 and your all set for life!

In the works. Money is not a issue not to say I'm anywhere near rich but I love to buy it once with top notch quality. Just not sure what pistol to buy in 9 mm. So many out there.

Carlow where are you from? How many probationary shoots do you have left? What range you going to?

Probationary shoots for every club that I'm interested in is basically a test that you have to do in order to receive your ATT from the club. So for example I have to participate in a ATT course then 4 probationary shoots to follow where they watch you shoot and see how you handle a restricted firearm. These clubs won't issue your ATT until you complete of this. Maybe some one can go more in depth with it but that's basically how it is. So not only do you have to wait for your rpal you have to wait to do all these course before you can bring your restricted firearms to the club very frustrating. Some clubs want you to do 10 probationary shoots.

'Probationary shoots', 'ATT courses' and 'holster courses' are how the Ontario gun control gest.. I mean system (yeah, that's it) punish....I mean ensures (yeah, that's it) the safety of pistol shooters in Ontario, they're aided in this by the Quisl... I mean Safety Naz.....I mean Concerned Handgunners (yeah that's it), who have nothing better to do than create more obstacles for new shooters to jump through, so that they can feel better about themselves. Ontario is the only Province where this garbage is forced down people's throats for no valid reason. I've been a handgun shooter with memberships at half a dozen different clubs over the last 35 years in BC and have yet to shoot at a single club where any of those were the norm. For those who suggest that dumping this garbage would lead to carnage on the range - there is only one club that I've been a member of that has had anyone injure themselves while shooting, the individual was a police officer training ERT members. He's the only person who has ever been shot in the 100+ year history of my current club.

Congratulations !

I myself own a Custom TLE II .
I like it very much. I don't plan to get another 1911 , because I very satisfied by the quality and accuracy of it.

Enjoy !

If you have a .40 you don't 'need' a 9mm...lol...

All he "needs" is a dedicated .22 lr pistol & he's all set for life.

But we all know it doesn't work that way.... :p

The .22 lr caliber never did anything for me. I shot it once and was instantly bored

Enefgee how could I forget the holster training. I bought holsters for my pistols The blackhawk serpa. I asked the club if it was ok to use them once I got my att. They where like nope need to get trained. Wtf seriously.

Your club has nothing to do with an ATT, it comes from the CFO. Is the CFO of your province requiring this, if so he is full of chit. If the club is doing it on their own, they are full of chit, find another club.

^^ This.

Nice purchase and great looking guns OP.

As for the probationary shoots, that's a heaping pile of BS if I ever saw one. Some clubs require 10 of these? Also, do you have to pay for each of these "shoots"?

yes the cfo arranged it. all the clubs here are like this. no ifs ands or buts.

i know its total bs thats just how it is. they supply the pistols for the course you have to buy the ammo. there pistols are usually .22 lr and 9mm how much of it usually depends on how long the course is. the gun shop on sight always has this ammo in stock for cheap surplus. no there is no fee for the course
