Cleaned up the crew now that the season is done,

Took a shot of the stainless bunch while they were out and thought I'd share: (Top to Bottom)

It's an XS blade sight, the barrel is dovetailed now instead of ramp sight. I built 2 identical guns this way, sold 1.
 
I had a Savage 93 in .22magnum. Stainless, bull barrel, and synthetic stock. Loved that rifle but I ended up selling it to help pay for tuition fees. I ended up selling a lot of guns during that time. Went from a nice healthy 15 gun collection to just 3. :(
 
I have been planning to shorten my Marlin XLR barrel for a number of years. I think it will improve the handling and balance of the rifle. Mine is in 35Remington. I was thinking of cutting 3" off for a 21" barrel.

GMC403: How does your "bobbed" XLR handle now?

Absolutely perfect!, I shortened mine to 19" and it brought the 3 shot groups down to .75" from 1-3/4" @ 100y

Well, not sure where Rem got their numbers from. But the Scale don't lie...... 3.15kg unloaded
