FN/Winchester.

They are really nice rifles, quality is right up there and finish is great IMO....Super Grade 30-06 and it has some of the nicest wood I have seen in a mass produced factory rifle

They are very nice rifles though and I can find no flaw with them at all, except a little heavier than I like to hunt with.

You airplane guys always complain about weight!

That 340 rechamber could be an interesting one. I think the 340 makes more sense than the 300 Wby. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against the 300 Wby because of how many Pre64 300 H&H got rechambered to 300Wby.

That shell-holder looks taylor made for a Super-Grade. Mind telling where you got it?
Cheers

Got it right from 7X leather...stamp on the holder. The gentleman's name is Wes Deams and he does amazing work. He has a website but you will have to call him, he won't return emails. Also be prepared for a wait of a few months to get it...

I have the Extreme Weather SS in .270 Win and I have another EWSS in .338 Win Mag on order. I just need to get the compact in 7.mm-08 and a Supergrade (not sure what calibre yet, either .300 Win Mag or 30-06.

[/IMG]Another M-70 fan. A picture from a previous post, all M-70's except the second from the left.

Whats the deal with the stocks on the top two? top looks like a Alaskan with a black foretip? the color is off from factory as well. Same with the second from top although the stock contour does not look Alaskan and has no cross bolt. Did you refinish those two? They look great in case i am coming off as if they don't.
